Proyojhon Privacy Policy

1. Information we collect

• Account profile details from Mexnon ID if you sign in, including name, email address, and username. You may also add a mobile number, blood group, home or area address, and profile photo.
• Support messages that you send by email or contact form.
• Selected location, preferences, bookmarks, recently viewed items, recent searches, and notification settings stored locally on your device.
• Selected district or upazila, plus filters and search terms, when we need them to return relevant listings from our servers.
• Technical and diagnostic data such as app version, device type, error information, and standard server logs.

2. How we use information

• To provide and personalize the Service.
• To create and manage your account and profile.
• To save bookmarks, recent items, and preferences.
• To send local reminder notifications when enabled.
• To maintain security, prevent abuse, and fix problems.
• To respond to support requests and comply with legal obligations.

3. Storage and protection

• Non-sensitive preferences and cached data stay on your device in local storage.
• Login tokens are stored in encrypted secure storage, not plain app storage.
• Profile and account data are stored on Proyojhon servers and protected with access controls and HTTPS.
• Personal data is kept only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law.

4. Sign-in and Mexnon ID

• Sign-in is optional and handled through Mexnon ID using OAuth 2.0 with PKCE.
• We receive a secure token and basic profile details, but never your password.
• Your use of Mexnon ID is also subject to Mexnon’s own privacy policy.

5. Third-party services

• Mexnon ID for sign-in and identity.
• Cloudinary for profile photo hosting.
• Expo for app infrastructure and local notifications.
• Proyojhon API for account storage and listings.

6. Permissions the app may request

• Notifications for service reminders.
• Photos or media only when you choose to set or change a profile photo.
• Vibration for notification feedback.
• The app does not request precise location, contacts, microphone, or camera for general use.

7. Your choices and rights

• Browse without an account for most features.
• Access and update your profile in the app.
• Turn notifications off in your device settings.
• Deactivate or delete your account from the app, or request copy and deletion by email.

8. Data retention

• Local data stays on your device until you sign out, delete it, or uninstall the app.
• Signing out clears saved items, recent items, searches, and notifications cached for your account on that device.
• Account data on our servers is kept while your account is active.
• Deleted accounts are permanently purged 90 days after deletion.

9. Children’s privacy

• Proyojhon is not directed to children under 13.
• If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will remove it.

10. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. We will post the new version here and update the Last updated date. Significant changes may also be announced in the app.
